The family of a child who sustained critical injuries after getting pushed from the 10th floor of the art gallery have stated their "little knight" has reached his target of being able to run, jump, and swim again.

The young child was six when he was pushed off a railing by a adolescent, previously 17 years old.

He, who was traveling with the family in August 2019 when attacked, lived through a 98-foot plunge but suffered significant harm, like a brain hemorrhage and broken bones.

Parents stated in an update on a crowdfunding site, they were happy that he had been successful to progress with his running, jumping and swimming before his next surgery.

"He doesn't do it like other children of his age, certainly, but we are unable to portray what he does in another manner than by saying it's swimming, running, and jumping."

He, who spent many months in intensive care, has continued to build brain resilience.

Following a court case at the Old Bailey, the adolescent was found guilty of attempted murder and was jailed in the year 2020 for at least 15 years.
